Quentin Willson

TV presenter and motoring expert Quentin Willson is perhaps most widely known as the presenter of the motoring programmes Fifth Gear and the original incarnation of Top Gear.

Since early 2011, Willson has been the national spokesman for FairFuelUK campaining for lower government fuel duty, and has been involved in the push towards lesser polluting vehicles for some time.

Neil joined Leeds City Council in 1989. He worked in a range ofcorporate roles until 2003 when he was appointed as Director of Neighbourhoods & Housing, then Director of Environment & Housing in 2013. Neil is now Director of Resources & Housing with effect from April 2017 with responsibility for the support services across the council that help us, as an authority to achieve our Best City ambitions.

Lucinda has been the Labour councillor for Kirkstall ward since 2008 and is currently Deputy Leader of Leeds City Council and Executive Member for Environment and Sustainability. Previous to this she was Executive Member for Children and Families at a time when Leeds Children’s Services was rated as ‘Good’ with ‘Outstanding’ leadership by Ofsted, completing its transformation from the ‘Inadequate’ rating received in 2009.

With over 25 years’ experience in the UK automotive industry, as current Head of Commercial Vehicles of LeasePlan UK, Mark has been instrumental in the company’s commercial vehicle fleet growth to almost 60,000 vehicles. Prior to taking up the LeasePlan role in 2010, Mark held the position as Commercial Vehicle Director at Lex Autolease – and has extensive OEM experience, with roles at two major commercial vehicle manufacturers - Nissan and Renault.

Alex Philpott is Head of Programme Office at the Government’s Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV). Previously he served as Private Secretary to two transport ministers, focusing on aviation and environmental policies. He has worked on a number of other areas in the Department for Transport – including the Crossrail project, rail franchising, and strategic finance.
